HydroGienic® - Advantages

The fast paced and technologically focused world of pharmaceutical manufacturing demands a greater degree of flexibility than ever before. This change in pure water system design from conventional stainless steel re-circulating loop systems to a parallel delivery configuration, combined with small bore PTFE hoses, provides the system user with a huge number of advantages.

Some Clear Advantages

Conventional Stainless Steel Ring Main HydroGienic®
TIG welding installation is complex, time consuming and disruptive to facilities. As simple to install as electrical cable with minimal facility disruption. It offers quick and easy re-configuration with no ‘Hot Working’ in production areas.
Significant inspection, certification and validation qualification needed. Requires minimal validation and qualification paperwork with just ONE piece of paper for every PTFE hose.
Requires degreasing, passivation and carries risks of rouge formation. Employs PTFE hose rather than stainless steel, significantly reducing the need for degreasing and passivation and the risk of rouge.
User points cannot be added, removed or modified whilst the system is in use and downtime and re-qualification is significant when loops are broken into. Parallel configuration enables user points to be easily added, removed or modified whilst the rest of the system remains operational, typically reducing downtime by 50%.
User points are limited in their diversity. Innovative and unique reverse flow principle provides 100% diversity, as and when it is required across all typical flow rates required for pharmaceutical manufacture.
